Getting fit for the spring swells
What you do on land over the winter shows up in the water when the conditions turn good.
Shoulders that last
Paddling asks a lot from your shoulders and upper back. Mobility work and pulling strength help you stay in the water for longer and keep your paddling efficient at the end of a session.
A faster pop-up
A pop-up combines pushing strength, a mobile hip and timing. All three can be trained on the sand, without a wave in sight, and small improvements make a big difference.
Stamina for long sessions
Short, repeated efforts with brief recoveries look a lot like surfing itself. Add them gradually so you can still enjoy the last wave as much as the first.
